The Challenge
Monarto Safari Lodge is a high-end tourism experience built around luxury safari tents overlooking a waterhole, with a central lodge housing a restaurant, bar, pool, and outdoor lounge areas. Delivering that level of experience meant audio needed to feel effortless throughout the property, present in the right places without ever feeling intrusive, and flexible enough to suit very different spaces, from an intimate restaurant setting to an open-air fire pit area, all without guests or staff needing to think about it.
The Solution
Aria Digital designed and installed a complete audio system across the lodge using JBL commercial speakers throughout. The space was zoned so different areas, including the restaurant, bar, lounge, and the outdoor fire pit area, could each run their own ambient background music independently, letting staff tailor the atmosphere to the time of day and the setting. Everything is managed through touch screens placed at convenient locations around the property, giving staff simple control over volume and zoning without needing technical expertise.
The Results
The lodge now has a cohesive audio experience that matches the quality of the accommodation itself, contributing to the ambience across both indoor and outdoor spaces. Staff can adjust each zone independently and in real time, keeping the atmosphere right for a quiet breakfast service, an evening at the fire pit, or anything in between, all through a system that's simple enough to run day to day.
